This exhibition aimed to publicize the work by Granada film maker, José Val del Omar, with the Misiones Pedagógicas' cultural-educational project. A selection of his early films and photographs made during the Misiones project was displayed. The exhibition focused on the Misiones' work in the villages of Murcia. Val del Omar had a special relationship with this region, where he shot several documentaries on Easter celebrations, in Lorca, Cartagena, and Murcia Spring Festival between 1934 and 1935. The films Fiestas cristianas/Fiestas profanas, were restored and screened at the exhibition.

The show included material from the Residencia de Estudiantes, the Fundación Francisco Giner de los Rios [Institución Libre de Enseñanza], Gonzalo Sáenz de Buruaga's family archives, and other institutions, such as the Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver Trust (Cartagena).
