The exhibition focused on various aspects of the naturalist Ignacio Bolívar and the institutions with which he was connected, such as the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Institutución Libre de Enseñanza and the Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas, using material provided by those institutions and the Residencia de Estudiantes. A bibliography of Spanish contemporary scientific literature complemented the exhibition.
