This exhibition commemorated the 100th anniversary of physicist Miguel A. Catalán's birth. It followed his professional career and his milieu through a selection of documents related to his scientific work, and his relationship with institutions and fellow scientists. The material came from the Residencia de Estudiantes' archives, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and from the collection of one of his disciples, Fernando R. Rico. Photographs provided by Gonzalo Menéndez Pidal, illustrated Catalán's personal and scientific aspects. Instruments that Catalán used in his research, now kept at the CSIC, were also exhibited.
